Sorensen Fine Homes is a Residential DESIGN firm undertaking commissions across Canada and the US. It has an integrated CONSTRUCTION arm building custom homes on Bowen Island and Southern Vancouver Island, BC. It also develops its own Master Planned Communities (see Development Projects).

Company founders, John and David Sorensen, have four decades of experience in residential Design, Construction, and Development, stemming from their design/build roots in Toronto, Ontario.

David has taken the lead on the Company’s Residential Design program for individual clients and for the Master Planning and Marketing programs of their various development projects.

John has long experience and understanding of residential construction methodologies. They have made him a good builder in every sense, and a remarkably deft manager of trades and suppliers. Central to their success has been his rigorous knowledge of costs in preparing construction budgets.

Both are ‘old carpenters’. They have swung a hammer themselves for many years, and have a practical knowledge for how buildings should go together to their high standards of quality.

Superior ‘fit and finish’ is bred in the marrow, and together, they make the Company greater than the sum of their parts.
