A view from the ocean of a new home under construction at King Edward Bay.
A remarkable timber home designed by us for Bowen Island, BC. This beautifully rendered concept shows a complex, subtle, and nuanced design. It was a pleasure working with our clients on this brief.

Located in British Columbia, Canada, our firm provides residential design services and state-of-the art 3d visualizations to clients across North America.

As highlighted by our portfolio (see Gallery), the Company’s strength is designing & (locally) building traditional homes – with our abiding interest being to imbue each new design with variety and freshness.

In our individualized 3D design work, we take full advantage of site views and sunlight, lay out floor plans to be not only efficient but comfortable, and, if the Gods favour us in our efforts, craft elevations whose hoped for presence and grace our clients will find satisfying.

On approval of conceptual designs, we produce the following documents:

1. For clients outside of British Columbia, detailed electronic files (DWG format) with foundation plan, floor plans, 4 elevations, 3 sections, and architectural details for an a local architect/ draughtsperson to complete to their jurisdictional standards.

2. For clients in British Columbia, completed ‘working’ and engineering drawings. We also obtain Building Permits on behalf of our clients.

3. For our own Construction Management Programs, see: Construction Management page (for the present, only available on Bowen Island and Southern Vancouver Island).

The majority of our commissions are undertaken ‘at a distance’, that is, by phone, e-mail, video, and mailed drawings. As such, we can comfortably assure our clients of no loss of definition in the communication of our design process.

“Nothing is more rewarding to us than to observe our client’s “ah-hah” moment when presented with fully articulated 3D presentation drawings. Worth everything, we think.” – David Sorensen
